March Madness® Mayhem: The Wright way to enjoy the NCAA tournament

As the Official Hair Salon of March Madness®, Great Clips is once again taking center court with a high-impact, multi-channel marketing campaign designed to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and salon traffic during this year's NCAA basketball tournament.

 

The Great Clips "Wrights & Wrongs" campaign features two-time national championship winning coach Jay Wright sharing his expertise on the right and wrong ways for fans to enjoy March Madness. Through humorous TV commercials, social media content, and an exciting sweepstakes, we're connecting with the passionate college basketball audience in an entertaining and meaningful way.

Here are a few key highlights of the campaign:

 

Television Commercials: Two national TV spots starring Coach Wright will air during the Men's and Women's tournaments, including premium placements during the Final Four and championship games. In Bangs and Friendship,” Wright humorously advises against DIY haircuts and having friends cut hair, promoting Great Clips as the "Wright" solution.

 

Social Media Integration: We've partnered with pro basketball star Domantas Sabonis and college standouts Gabby Gregory (Kansas State) and Kyle Filipowski (Duke). These athletes recently visited Great Clips salons for fresh cuts, providing engaging social content.

 

"Wrights & Wrongs" Sweepstakes: Fans can enter on the Great Clips mobile app through April 8th for a chance to win a grand prize trip and tickets to the 2025 Men's or Women's Final Four, including airfare, hotel, transportation, and spending money.
