What’s expected of a Great Clips franchisee?
First and foremost, we expect you to be ready for something great! As a Great Clips franchisee, you’ll join more than 700 other owners who have helped make Great Clips the largest and fastest growing haircare brand in North America. Great Clips franchisees come from a variety of backgrounds, but their roles and responsibilities remain the same.

1. Be engaged and involved
The best way to build the business you’ve always dreamed of is by ensuring it’s running effectively, efficiently and successfully. By staying engaged and involved from day one, you’ll be able to identify opportunities to enhance operations, bring in more customers and grow your investment.
2. Participate in your local co-op
It’s hard to overstate the value of working together with your fellow franchisees. By getting involved in meetings, participating in events and learning from—and growing with—the members of your local co-op, you can reach a level of success well beyond what you could achieve alone.
3. Create a great working environment
Build a professional culture that makes people want to work with you—and keep working with you. Recruiting new staff will always be part of your to-do list, but if you can create a salon environment where people can have fun, work hard and grow, you’ll do a lot less recruiting and a lot more business.
4. Be ready to grow

5. Market your business
